Collectively, our physicians diagnose and treat 90 percent of all breast cancer patients needing surgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Diehl also provides breast surgical services at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville and Dover. We have the most extensive experience in the state and feature minimally invasive sentinel node biopsy techniques, having introduced the technology in New Jersey in 1997.
Our surgeons are leaders in the field and utilize the least invasive techniques. We also specialize in breast conservation surgery. For patients who are not candidates for breast preserving therapy, we offer the most advanced mastectomy options available, such as skin-sparing mastectomies and immediate-tissue-transfer reconstruction.
Diagnostic services include ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, sentinel node biopsy and the minimally invasive stereotactic needle biopsy.
Allied Surgical Group offers specialty services for patients with solid organ malignancies. If you are diagnosed with any gastrointestinal, colon, liver, pancreatic, esophageal or stomach cancer, our surgeons are trained and experienced in removing these tumors.
