Michael David Most, M.D.

Specializing in head and neck surgery, Dr. Most earned his medical degree at Technion Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. He completed his surgery residency and a fellowship in head and neck oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York. He also holds a master of arts in biomedical sciences from the Barry Z. Levine School of Health Sciences at Touro College, Dix Hills, NY.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and holds certifications in advanced trauma life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, basic cardiac life support and as an advanced emergency medical technician.

With extensive training and experience in head and neck oncologic surgery techniques, Dr. Most has authored or coauthored a variety of peer-reviewed research papers and presented his research at medical conferences.

Career awards and honors include earning the Ginzberg “Chief of the Year” Award. He was also named Administrative Chief Resident and earned the Junior Resident Clinical Achievement Award at Beth Israel.

Dr. Most has served on several important committees at Beth Israel, including the Surgical Quality Improvement Committee, the Medical Board Surgical Committee and the Residency House Staff Committee. He also served on the Physician Advisory Committee for Clinical Information Systems with the Continuum Health Care Network. He is active in the New York Head and Neck Society.
